About us
Promocafé started in 2024, when Jerónimo Jaramillo left his position at a Colombian export house to solve a problem he had watched from the inside: roasters wanted natural-process coffee at volume, and Colombia was not built to deliver it consistently. So we started at the hardest end of the chain, production. We built our own natural processing capacity in Huila and Quindío and learned, harvest by harvest, how to make a natural lot repeatable rather than lucky. From there we grew into the rest of the portfolio: parchment sourced across Colombia, from regional washed lots to microlots and exotic varieties.
Origin and scale
Today we source from Quindío, Huila, Nariño and Tolima, working with our own farms alongside associations and cooperatives that connect us to more than 600 producers. We operate our own dry mill, controlling the process end to end, which makes production and delivery times more efficient. In 2025 we shipped close to 70 containers to buyers in Europe, the Middle East and South America.
Our projects.

The Cordillera Project: naturals at scale
Most natural coffees from Colombia arrive as small, unrepeatable lots. The Cordillera Project was built to change that. The series comes from a closed production loop: a selected group of farms along the high ridges of the Huila and Quindío cordillera, working exclusively to specialty standards and processed in our own centers in Huila and Valle del Cauca. Controlling the chain from cherry to export lets us hold a uniform flavor profile across significant volumes, harvest after harvest. Same farms, same protocol, same cup: a natural Colombian coffee consistent every time.
